Delete Your Account

This page explains how to delete your Vitrak distributor account and the personal data held with it. You can do it yourself inside the app, or ask us to do it — you do not need the app installed to make the request.

Delete it yourself, in the app

Open the Vitrak distributor app and go to My Account → Delete my account. You will be asked to confirm twice, because it cannot be undone. Deletion happens immediately and you are signed out on the spot.

Ask us to delete it

If you have uninstalled the app, changed your phone, or cannot sign in, email info@vitrak.in from your registered email address, or write to the postal address below, with the mobile number your account uses. We will verify the request and delete the account within 30 days, and confirm once it is done.

What is deleted

Your profile — agency name, contact person, GST number, business type and category.
Your location details — pincode, city, district and state.
Your shortlist of saved brands, and the categories and areas you follow.
Your notifications, and any interest you registered in a product or advertisement.
Device tokens used to send you push notifications, so messages stop at once.
Your mobile number is released, so it can be used to sign up again later if you choose.

What is kept, and why

Enquiries you already sent to a brand. Once you tap “I’m interested”, that enquiry becomes the brand’s record of a business conversation you started with them. Deleting your account does not withdraw it from them. If you want a brand to erase what it holds about you, contact that brand directly.
A record of your consent. We keep a dated note of what you agreed to and when it ended. This is the audit trail showing the data was handled lawfully while we held it; it contains no profile details.
Anything the law requires us to retain, for as long as it requires it.

Before you delete

Deletion is permanent. Your shortlist, your saved preferences and your notification history cannot be recovered, and signing up again with the same number creates a new, empty account. If you only want to stop hearing from us, turning off notifications in the app is the smaller step.
